| Welcome to DannyOlson.com, a Web site that celebrates the
long and distinguished career of one of South Dakota’s pioneer radio and
television sportscasters.
Danny O’s colorful sportscasting career is reminiscent of the "Field of Dreams"
motion picture as he grew up on an Iowa
farm, loved sports – particularly the game of baseball – and went on to talk
with some of the biggest names in major-league baseball history, including such
legendary players as Ty Cobb and
Hank Aaron.
In this site you will find a biography on our father,
information on his career highlights, and a
photo scrapbook . You’ll also be able to
review some of Danny’s favorite Web links.
